PTCG – Consultoria de Gestão provided strategic and financial advisory services in the transaction that resulted in the largest M&A deal ever carried out by an insurance broker headquartered in Portugal: the acquisition by MDS of a 50.1% stake in Seguramos.
Through this transaction, MDS strengthens its leadership in the Portuguese insurance market, managing approximately €600 million in premiums and around €95 million in revenue in Portugal, while consolidating a network of around 1,000 agents and 49 offices.
The transaction involved the acquisition of the stake previously held by the Proef Group, followed by a capital increase aligned with the group’s growth strategy.
